Overview

The hotels' building was erected in 1898 by the well-known Moscow architect Alexander Ivanov. Featuring a stunning facade embellished with decorative figures overlooking the river and a more modest front for the Balchug Street side, the new building displayed architectural elements from the era of neoclassicism. Ideally located just across the Moskva River from the Kremlin in Russia's historic and cultural center, the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow provides business and leisure travellers with the perfect base from which to explore one of the world's most important and dynamic cities.

All rooms are air conditioned and beautifully appointed, with amenities including satellite TV channels, two direct-dial satellite telephones with voice mail, in-house mobile phones, computer outlet and direct Internet access, personal safe, minibar, bathrobe and slippers.

Baltschug Bar: On the first floor you will find the Baltschug Bar serving a full range of drinks, bar snacks and the Daily Special.
Cafe Kranzler: Situated off the Hotel lobby, this is the ideal place to relax with a wide selection of homemade cakes, pastries and fine coffee brews.
Lobby Lounge: Open throughout the day, the Lobby Lounge offers guests and visitors the opportunity to enjoy light snacks and drinks in the comfort of our Lobby.
Pool Bar: The Pool Bar located in the Health Club, offers healthy soft drinks.
Restaurant Baltschug: This a la carte and buffet restaurant which serves international and Russian cuisine is known for its special nightly theme buffets as well as Linner (between Lunch and Dinner) on Sundays.
Restaurant Shogun: Authentic Japanese cuisine - sushi, sashimi and other culinary delights in an elegant contemporaty environment.

With 9 meeting rooms ranging from 4 to 180 persons and a Business Centre for full administrative support, every meeting is a success at the Baltschug. The hotel's Atrium is an ideal space for art exhibitions, receptions as well as cocktail parties for up to 300 people. For breathtaking views of Kemlin and St Basil's, the Bibliothek on the 8th floor is the perfect venue. Accomodating up to 60 persons, the setting as the name suggests is that of a traditional library with wood panelling and classics of Russian literature adorning the shelves.

Arriving in Russia

To avoid having problems when you arrive or being overcharged by unknown drivers, we highly suggest using our airport and train station transfer service.
