Overview

In May 2003, The Baltic Star Hotel opened its doors for its first guests - the participants of the "Russia-EU Summit". The Baltic Star Hotel and its village of VIP-cottages are located in Strelna, the picturesque suburb of St. Petersburg on the Gulf of Finland. This modern and comfortable hotel occupies a historical building next to the unique architectural ensemble of the Konstantinovsky Palace and Gardens. The hotel has everything to suit the needs of even the most demanding travelers. The cottages are located on the bank of the Gulf of Finland and are a part of The Baltic Star Hotel Complex. There are 18 cottages, named after great Russian cities, and the interior of every cottage is decorated with fine art from the corresponding region.

Restaurants and Bars

Breeze Lobby Bar: The Breeze Lobby Bar is located on the first floor of the hotel. Cozy chairs and sofas and the tranquility of the huge park behind the windows will help you relax after a busy day. The Lobby Bar is open 24 hours a day. Live piano music during the weekend.
Northern Venice Restaurant: The Northern Venice Restaurant offers you the best of Italian fine dining and an extensive wine list. Gentle colors of the furniture and curtains, and natural flowers make you feel at home and relaxed. Live music and a splendid view of the Konstantinovsky park make your lunch or dinner simply unforgettable. The restaurant sits 50 people and is open from 12 to 11 pm.
Russian Versalia: The restaurant seats up to 150 people and makes an ideal place for banquets and other festive occasions. Breakfast is served here every morning from 7.30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and Saturdays the restaurant has special offers for guests.

The Baltic Star hotel has all the necessary equipment you will need to hold conferences, workshops, banquets and other corporate events at the highest level. The biggest conference hall, Petrovsky takes up 243 square meters and seats up to 250 people. One of its advantages, very large windows, keeps it well lit during the day. The conference hall is equipped with a simultaneous translation system and rooms for translators. Apart form this conference hall there are 5 more, they are smaller in size and sit up to 35 people each.

Arriving in Russia

To avoid having problems when you arrive or being overcharged by unknown drivers, we highly suggest using our airport and train station transfer service. Russian airport and station taxis are unregulated and the drivers ask for rates as high as $60 or more to take newly arrived guests to the city center. Our drivers are polite and drive safely and we offer very good, competitive rates. Our driver will meet you at your arrival point with a signboard and take you directly to your hotel or apartment.
