Rooms

All 93 rooms of the Grand Hotel Emerald are spacious, bright and furnished with taste in classic style. Independent heating and air-conditioning provide desired temperature in your room and bathrobes and slippers will make you feel at home. The unique interactive TV system in each room allows you to find information on the hotel, to set wake up time, to send e-mail, to use the Internet and to watch TV. Rooms on the top floors offer an enchanting view of the city. The Grand Royal and the President Suites are always ready to host special guests.

Restaurants and Bars

Atrium-cafe Versailles: The Atrium cafe is located on the 3d floor and presents a cozy European style courtyard topped with a transparent glass cupola. The Raffia furniture and 19th century style street lamps give a special accent and charm to the atrium. In the evening the atrium, lightened by old style street lamps and small candles on the tables, creates romantic atmosphere.
Emerald restaurant: The classical style Emerald restaurant is decorated with marble and Swarovsky crystal chandeliers and seats up to 80 people. The menu offers an appealing range of the best International dishes. In the morning the restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, for lunch and dinner the restaurant offers an extensive a la carte menu. In the evening, live music is performed on a special stage.
Lobby bar Suvorovsky: Lobby bar Suvorovsky is furnished with rose marble panels, golden elements and a parquet floor. It is an ideal place for afternoon tea or drinks. The bar is opened from 8:30 a.m. until 2.00 a.m. and offers a wide range of spirits, soft drinks, the best grades of coffee and tea as well as exotic cakes from the hotel's confectionery.

Arriving in Russia

To avoid having problems when you arrive or being overcharged by unknown drivers, we highly suggest using our airport and train station transfer service. Russian airport and station taxis are unregulated and the drivers ask for rates as high as $60 or more to take newly arrived guests to the city center. Our drivers are polite and drive safely and we offer very good, competitive rates. Our driver will meet you at your arrival point with a signboard and take you directly to your hotel or apartment.
